couch_epi uses crypto:hash/2, which is new as of R15B02, so this version list in reltool.config is no longer accurate:

{require_otp_vsn, R14B01|R14B03|R14B04|R16B02|R16B03-1|17|18}

Do we need to find a workaround to support those R14 releases? In related news, our INSTALL instructions list "Erlang OTP (>=R14B01, =<R17)” as a dependency, which is a bit more permissive than the actual list of supported versions.
