[users@httpd] Preventing Synology NAS WebStaion from overriding my customization

Long time since I posted a query -- it's been 8+ years since retirement. Brought up my first Apache 2.4 httpd in that time, this time in a Synology NAS using WebStation. Anybody found a way to counter WebStation's overwriting my http.conf customization? Trying to create directory index specific to one directory and a location handler for server info at the start and every restart throws them away.

Having bought the unit, you have access to commercial support with them,
albeit it might be limited. It would be a far more probable way to get a
quick answer.

Oh agreed. Just hoped some might be lurking here.

That would be a question for the Synology folks, at a glance.

What I generally do is share htdocs and conf directories with the host
and I edit them from there.

I would rather install the virtual machine manager or the Container
Manager and manage everything httpd myself in a persistent piece of disk
and use the web station as a dumb reverse proxy instead If I really want
to use it.
