ASF Public Mail Archives are now a public data set
FYI, the hosted set of ASF public mail archives that I have put up on my own account are now a publicly available data set from Amazon: http://aws.amazon.com/datasets/7791434387204566
This is a new snapshot as of July 18, 2011.
There are processing tools for converting these for use in Mahout in the Integration package of Mahout (on trunk -- see SequenceFilesFromMailArchives)
