2025 Survey draft results

Hi everyone,

We finished up the 2025 Cassandra survey last weekend. I wanted to get some
results out soon, so I'm sending a draft out via email for those of you
subscribed to the user or dev mailing list.

A couple of things about these PDFs. You may have heard about Anthropic
launching Cowork this week. Well, I gave it a shot with this survey data. I
put the last three years of responses in a directory and had it create two
PowerPoint decks analyzing the results. I'll post more raw results on the
website, but this was a fun and easy thing to do.

The other thing you might notice is the low N on the respondents. I believe
this will show up in a bias for certain deployments and use cases. If you
look at the average profile of a respondent, you'll see it's mostly a group
of very experienced users. Just keep that in mind when looking at the
numbers.
