[jira] [Commented] (ATTIC-149) Missing styles and content in https

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ATTIC-149?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15169232#comment-15169232 ]

Sebb commented on ATTIC-149:
----------------------------

Do such protocol-relative URLs work in all browsers?

Note that if the URLs point to attic.apache.org then it makes more sense to use host-relative URLs such as "/style/compressed.css" which are known to work (and are probably marginally cheaper as no host resolution is needed)

> The pages of the Attic are not styled when going to https://attic.apache.org
> The reason is that most modern browsers refuse to load stylesheets over http (tested in Firefox, Chrome and Safari on OSX).
> The links to the styles, Google search form and banner iframe are hard coded on http.
