Re: Remote Delivery Exception
Hi There,
I am using JAMES 2.1.3, unfortunately can not immediately shift to version
2.2.0. I am also facing the same problem of Exception in Remote Delivery.
Which is
"Exception caught in RemoteDelivery.run(): "
I have defined properly all the elements in configuration file regarding
RemoteDelivery tag. I have defined the gateway tag, and there is no
mis-configuration (No Null values defined in gateway tags).
This exception message is displayed at the end of the run() method in Remote
Delivery if any exception is caught, and the mail is removed from the spool
to avoid any unnecessary looping and exceptions.
>From the previous reply on this issue there was a suggestion to make some
changes in the deliver() method of RemoteDelivery. I am still not convinced
regarding this suggestion, as the target servers collect the gateway servers
defined in the configuration file in the Remote Delivery tag. And there were
no null values defined over there.
If there is some problem in my understanding, Please make it clear to me,
other wise please suggest some other solution.
REgards,
Taimur.
