Re: svn commit: rev 8016 - issue 1651 - Copyright (c) 2004

(Karl changed lots of the copyright notices to extend their range to 2004.)

Is it right to update the copyright notices to 2004 several weeks in advance?

Did you want also to update the copyright string that is printed out by the command-line client (in function "print_version_info")?

Did you want to also update tools/dev/check-license.py so that it accepts the new copyright strings as now being valid?

I doubt the law demands that this be done at midnight of the new year :-).
