Locking down wiki

Hi,

Looks like it's time to lock down the wiki.

http://wiki.apache.org/general/OurWikiFarm#per_wiki_access_control_-_tighten_your_wiki_just_a_little.2C_benefit_just_a_lot

See https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6002 for an example
issue to raise with Infra.

Legit users of the wiki:

 * SamRuby
 * Upayavira
 * HenriYandell
 * MattBenson

Those are all ASF Members, even if they're not all on Legal Affairs.
I'd suggest seeding AdminGroup with that list.

If no Legal Affairs member has stepped up in a day or so, I'll file
the issue myself.

Marvin Humphrey

OK. That sounds good to me. I assume write access could be re-enabled, if someone decides they'd like it, later…

AFAICT, all of the spam pages have been deleted. If there is more that needs to be done, I'll need a little pointer on what to do…

That's actually slightly less work for us, but you should delete the
spam pages before asking us to make it read-only.

Yes.

It's not a lot of work for Infra to enable the AdminGroup, so the decision to
axe the wiki is not pressing. It looks like Sam once used it for rough
drafts, so I'd say it's his call. All changesets were presumably captured to
this list and are available via the archives if someone's motivated enough to
dig.

INFRA-6090 looks good to me. Thanks for taking the baton.

Thanks Marvin.

This is the Wiki that we are discussing? http://wiki.apache.org/legal/

I don't see a legitimate update to this Wiki since 2008. Is there any reason to keep it?

I'd say we should lock it down and delete it, unless we have a use for it… I'll file a Jira...

Make sure to send only usernames that exist on the legal/ wiki.
