I found a bug that's been introduced in this ticket. I'd mentioned it at above in this thread, but not corrected at the time.

Because a type can have multiple features, the mapping definition:

    <str name="feature">coveredText</str>
    <str name="field">sentence</str>
  </lst>
</lst>

should be:

    <lst name="mapping">
