   Test case:
   <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
   <mx:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
                      xmlns:mx="library://ns.apache.org/royale/mx"
                      width="600" height="400" >
   		<mx:HBox>
   			<mx:RadioButton label="1" value="Radio 1"/>
   			<mx:RadioButton label="2" value="Radio 2"/>
   		</mx:HBox>
   </mx:Application>
   
   Note how "2" label is under the radio button icon
   
   I think the width of the HBox is set to be 60px before the width of the last RadioButton is measured. Because of that the the last radio button's label overflows.
