[jira] (MRM-1766) Clicking the ".." when browsing should take you
up one level in the group chain and not "Home"
Jeff Vincent created MRM-1766:
---------------------------------
Summary: Clicking the ".." when browsing should take you up one level in the group chain and not "Home"
Key: MRM-1766
URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-1766
Project: Archiva
Issue Type: Bug
Components: browser
Affects Versions: 1.4-M4
Reporter: Jeff Vincent
Priority: Minor
Even though this is a MINOR Bug, it is a MAJOR pain in the butt because I can't seem to remember to not click it when attempting to navigate up one level :)
If I'm browsing in the folder for org.apache.archiva and want to click the little folder icon to go up one level, instead of taking me to org.apache, it takes me all the way to the root/home folder.
So for example if the starting url is:
http://archiva/#browse/org.apache.commons
when I click the link to up to the parent folder, I want it to go to:
http://archiva/#browse/org.apache
But instead it goes to:
http://archiva/#browse
If it is working as designed, it is not intuitive since up one level to me means up to the parent group folder, not all the way to the top/home folder.
