HBase 0.90.4

Hi,
When I tried to answer questions on 'Errors after major compaction' thread,
I realized that there is a lag between 0.90.3 and what would be in 0.90.4

Specifically, HBASE-3789 is in TRUNK and has gone through testing at SU.
I think we should integrate that into 0.90 branch and try releasing 0.90.4

To a lesser extent, HBASE-4010 should help as well.

TestFromClientSide is failing on Jenkins due to environment issue. But it
passes on Linux box for me.
I am running test suite with HBASE-3789-v4-0.90.patch
included<https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12482830/HBASE-3789-v4-0.90.patch>

Please comment.

Its been deployed on a test cluster only -- IIRC -- but we can't
deploy it widely at SU because it breaks rolling restart (can't add it
to 0.90 branch for that reason either I'd say).

Yeah. Apache infrastructure fixed the build box issue last night (A
0.90 passed this morning. Yeah!).

We need to push out a 0.90.4. We should fix the two blockers though first.

Oops I guess that was implied.

If so, I propose bringing in HBASE-4010 and HBASE-3789

J-D / Stack:
I assume HBASE-3789 has been tested at SU.

Cheers

Would you like to be RM for 0.90.4 Ted? +1 on that too.

37 bug fixes have accumulated for 0.90.4, not including HBASE-3789

TestZooKeeper failed in the test suite.
It passed when executed standalone.
