JIDE Common Layer is Swing component library built on top of Java/Swing. It is also the foundation of other component products from JIDE. This project has over 30 Swing components and over 100k lines of code. It greatly enhanced the default component set provided by Swing and allow developers to focus on business logic layer instead of making components.
JIDE Common Layer was originally developed by JIDE Software developers as a foundation in order to build other more advanced components. In April of 2007, JIDE Software decided to open source this common layer so that more and more developers can leverage them instead of wasting time building them again.

Carlos seems to have solved it for the previous version (See MAVENUPLOAD-1603), don't know exactly what he did though.

The pom is incorrect, you get an error "system-scoped dependency must specify an absolute path systemPath" when trying to use it.

if the answer is yes that dependency must have a pom in the central repo, and somebody must provide the pom (in a bundle, just without the binary jar)

i removed it, this needs to reference a dependency in the repo with a pom although the jar is not there

Probably because I have in the pom.xml
<systemPath>${basedir}/libs/laf.jar</systemPath>
Even I made it an absolute path, it won't help as you might not have this jar. Anyone knows the typical solution for this?
