[jira] [Created] (LOG4NET-374) Auto reload of logging configuration settings.

Stephen Williams created LOG4NET-374:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Auto reload of logging configuration settings.
                 Key: LOG4NET-374
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4NET-374
             Project: Log4net
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Core
    Affects Versions: 1.2.11
            Reporter: Stephen Williams
            Priority: Trivial

It would be great to have an auto reload option for the xml configuration file for log4net. I also use log4j and the new version 2.x has implemented such a feature so that you can specify how often the xml configuration file is reloaded. This means that you can change the logging settings on the fly without having to restart the application using log4net or having to add your own file watcher code to do this.
