Download link at pluto project site broken
Hi,
the download link http://portals.apache.org/pluto/v101/mirrors.cgi at
the Pluto Project Site (http://portals.apache.org/pluto/) is broken.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Kind regards,
Uli

probably needs a chmod to make it executable. It sometimes gets reset
when the site is rebuilt (which I believe craig did yesterday).
Also, I've noticed in the passed that windows style line breaks appear
when you build the site from a windoze box. I believe that these need
to be removed.
You should have access to fix this:
people.apache.org:/www/portals.apache.org/pluto
is the root of our site.

Hi David,
I tried pointing the Download link to mirrors.cgi, and changed the
permissions of the script (755), but it still errored out. So I checked
where download links pointed to by Jetspeed and Portals-Bridges and cobbed
together a download URL that seems to work. We might want to change
mirrors.xml to use this URL too, since this seems to be the norm these
days (Maven uses it too).

the url should point to the cgi, not the html.
you also need to do what I described earlier to make sure that an
internal server error doesn't rear it's ugly head.

Broken links on mirrors.html?!?

Hi,
I just noticed the links on the mirrors.html are broken because the
variables in braces [ ] are not being subsituted.
Does anybody know how to fix this situation?
TIA

Hi David,
I fixed the download link.
BTW, I'd appreciate any help on layout of the 'JSR-286 announcement' box
from someone who is better at CSS-positioning than I am. I had to add
breaks (br) at the end of each line to prevent the box from expanding too
far to the left, but it still looks clunky in IE.
TIA

never mind. . .I was trying the right side download box vs. the left
nav bar. Can you patch this?

It was a link from the "Get Pluto 1.0.1" frame on the right just below
the JSR268 news...

before is an issue. You just happened to have found an old page still
out there.

I was too fast, sorry.
The correct link is http://portals.apache.org/pluto/mirrors.html
(But the link in the navigation bar on the left side is apparently wrong.)
