java-repository

Henri,

I see you published some 100+ 'javadocs.jar' items
  in 'dist/java-repository'.

Which pmc is responsible for these items ?

Looking at (just a random choice)

    java-repository/commons-validator/

  Is see in 'jars/'

    commons-validator-1.1.4.jar
    commons-validator-1.2.0.jar
    commons-validator-1.3.0.jar

  ... and in 'javadocs'

    commons-validator-1.0-javadocs.jar
    commons-validator-1.0.1-javadocs.jar
    commons-validator-1.0.2-javadocs.jar
    commons-validator-1.1.3-javadocs.jar
    commons-validator-1.1.4-javadocs.jar
    commons-validator-1.2.0-javadocs.jar

  It appears that 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.1.3
are already obsoleted by newer versions.
Note that 'dist/' must only contain
  'current' stuff.

  Regards,

  Henk Penning

Re: java-repository

Hi Henk,

Jakarta's responsible for the jars (the unix group for each file should be
jakarta). I have to wait for them to get rsync'd to ibiblio before I can
then delete them. With codehaus down, I'm not sure how quickly that will
happen.

If it's a problem, I can move the javadocs out and find another way to get
them deployed.

Let me know,

Hen
