[jira] [Resolved] (GEODE-3160) Spike: Investigate snapshotting multiple related regions

Fred Krone resolved GEODE-3160.
-------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Fix

Upcoming improvements to backups should allow for backup consistency across regions (when using the same disk store).

Snapshots are not really designed for consistency unless region traffic is paused.

> Users want to be able to snapshot more than one region at a time. The use case is they have related data in different regions and they want a snapshot with consistency or it's useless.
> Currently you can only snapshot one region at a time.
> Investigate and provide a level of effort on how can we snapshot multiple regions at the same time.
