[jira] Commented: (STDCXX-559) add ASL headers to all documentation files

Martin Sebor commented on STDCXX-559:
-------------------------------------

Thanks a lot! The two big patches applied cleanly (after I converted them to a sane format w/o CR/LF newlines ;-) but for some strange reason common.patch gave me trouble (see below). It seemed simple enough to make the changes by hand so I did -- you might want to double-check them just to be sure.

patching file index.html
patching file rw.css
Hunk #1 FAILED at 1.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file rw.css.rej
patching file rwbanner.css

> According to the ASF Source Header and Copyright Notice Policy (http://www.apache.org/legal/src-headers.html), every documentation file needs to contain a comment with the ASL header in it. None of ours currently does. They comments need to be added for the 4.2.0 release.
