------- Additional Comments From robert@rw-it.net 2005-08-18 21:51 -------
This is still an issue in 2.0.54, at least on Win32.
When viewing the process tree, it seems that the rotatelogs are children of the
child process. If this process exits (e.g. due to some module calling exit, as
in my case), the rotatelogs persist.
The results differ: Sometimes, they simply stay around, but sometimes they seem
to lock the logfiles, so rotatelogs spawned by the new child keep crashing,
filling the error log with thousands of "rotatelogs terminated unexpectedly"
messages.
