Questions Regarding Credit Bureau Integration in Nigeria

Hi all,

Nikhil has graciously continued work on the credit bureau integration
module after Google Summer of Code has wrapped up. You can view the summary

He is still awaiting completion of the module by getting access to a live
sandbox of a credit bureau so that the integration for credit bureau
inquiries from Apache Fineract/Mifos X can be executed.

He's recently started working with a Mifos volunteer, Mabawonku Bolarinwa,
of Nigeria who is providing requirements for integration with the three
main credit bureaus in Nigeria. Nikhil has all that's needed for the
reporting into the credit bureau and is now trying to gain
access/membership to a local credit bureau to work on the inquiries from
the credit bureau.

Before he invests a lot of time and effort into that, we wanted to identify
how important it is to the microfinance banks/MFIs in Nigeria to be able to
query the credit bureau in real-time from Mifos X. The integration would
allow this to be done directly from Mifos X. However, we need to understand
if this is a much more compelling or sought-out alternative than using the
existing GUI which allows one to manually do searches and inquiries into
the credit bureau.

I'm reaching out specifically regarding Nigeria but welcome any community
members to discuss the needs/requirements they have for their
country/region.
