[extension to aggregate] - looking for feedback

I thought I would share this with the users of jmeter. I am currently
working on writing a new listener that is similar to the aggregate listener
with 1 major difference. It will produce bar or line graphs.

http://people.apache.org/~woolfel/graph_cap1.png

My thought right now is to provide the following fields, which users will
configure.

1. graph title
2. dimension width, height
3. drop down to select the column. in other words: ave, median, max, min,
50%, 90%, through put, kb/sec
4. button to display the graph
5. button to save the graph

This should be in the build 2-1.20050920 which has just been created
and uploaded to the nightly directory.

jmeter.expertMode property

Posted by Noureddine BEKRAR <nb...@rennes.jouve.fr>.
Hi all,

Can you please tell me what's the aim of the "jmeter.expertMode" property
found on the jmeter.properties file.
I tried to give it "true" and "false" values, but i didn't find the
difference between the two in the JMeter GUI. There is not enough
documentation about this point.

Thank's.

I just checked in the code so that users can click "save table data" in the
new aggregate graph listener to save the data.

Yes. Just for printing and archiving purposes. Printing screen-shots is
not a very convenient way :)

Re: [extension to aggregate] - looking for feedback

I've managed to get some basic functionality working for the new aggregate
graph listener. it's still missing some buttons for saving the graph and
potentially the table data.

http://people.apache.org/~woolfel/graph_cap2.png

the code hasn't been checked in yet.

that's a rough mockup. when you say "save results to file", do you mean the
aggregate table?

Hi Peter,

I think that is very good idea. I like very much 50% and 90% graphs.
Also, could you please add "Save results to file" button?
In fact, it will be useful to have it on each listener GUI.
