REPORT QA

Hello I'm checking this bug: 117985
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=117985
But the O.S. is in windows NT, and the user wrote this:

When converting a loop in edfld.cxx, the assignment of the loop variable
got lost.
My question is: How can I reproduce this bug?
Regards,

Daniel Alvaro

Good question.

I would add a comment asking the original reporter, "How can I
reproduce the defect? What steps do I need to do?"

The report is written from the perspective of the code, the internals
of the product. It does not describe the external impact of the
defect. That's what makes it hard.

Note: It is certainly possible for this defect to have no external
impact for us to test. If this is true, then we will ask a programmer
to verify the fix in the source code.
