I'm not sure updating the directory plugin to 1.0 or 1.5 will happen before 2.0 is cut and shipping the current version is pretty useless. This way we can decouple the releases a bit.

Modified to work with released apacheds 1.5.0 in the copied branches/2.0 in rev. 564058.
Still need to figure out what versions to call these things and whether to have a plugin for apacheds 1.0.x
Make less dependent on the geronimo version it's running in (versions in target plan)
Figure out what to do about the demo.

rev 606741 changes some names based on Stefan's suggestion. This is still not quite release-ready.

Created plugin in rev 563580. Goes against my copy of apacheds 1.5.1-SNAPSHOT (trunk)
Removed directory related stuff from trunk in rev 563647
Removed directory related stuff from branches/2.0 in rev 563662
Still have to deal with the ldap demo and possibly ldap realm and also backport the plugin to a released apacheds version.

It would be nice if the name of the plugin would be "Apache Directory Server 1.5.1-SNAPSHOT for Geronimo" or "ApacheDS 1.5.1-SNAPSHOT for Geronimo" instead of "Apache Directory ...", because the Apache Directory project provides other solutions besides the LDAP server as well.
Second wish: The description contains an URL which is not valid any longer. Perhaps simply use http://directory.apache.org, which is stable.

Do we need the directory related code in branches\2.0.0? We may actually get rid of the commented out lines in pom.xml and remove directories under modules and configs in branches\2.0.0.
