Question on IUploadFile and getSize() method
Is there any reason the getSize() method is not percolated into the
IUploadFile interface? FileItem has 'long getSize()', and UploadPart
could implement this easily by delegating to FileItem, though I have
not perused the code entirely so could be missing something.
I ask because when I upload a file, I would prefer to get the size
without having to plough through the data to count the bytes.
If this sounds reasonable, please let me know, and I will take the
time to make the changes, test it, and provide a patch.

Sounds like I can handle it. I'll give it a go next week and let
you know.

There have been changes to the api since fileupload beta 1.0; Tapestry doesn't compile against
FileUpload's HEAD. I don't think the changes are that major, I haven't looked at them at all, yet.
I doubt it would be too difficult.

Ah, that's a bigger kettle of fish. Is the current FileUpload code
vastly out-of-date, or just a bit?
I should have a few days next week free to work on this if it is not
too humongous.

If you are volunteering to produce a patch to update Tapestry to match Jakarta FileUpload ... that
would be great. I just haven't had the time.
