Bug in Windows 1.3b3 version of APACHE (fwd)

Subject: Bug in Windows 1.3b3 version of APACHE
I just downloaded the latest 1b3 Windows95/NT Apache
server, and am experiencing problems with it.
I am currently trying to use the Apache server in my windows95
machine to invoke a Netdynamics project that we are running.
However, NetDynamics is failing because it cannot find the
files (passed into it as arguments).
Looking at the Netdynamics log, I saw the problem is because
Netdynamics is looking for a file whose name has all been
LOWERCASED. However, the files as it sits on the Win95
platform is both UPPER & LOWER case.
I then found a Win32 fix (apparently) that is causing this problem.
And I quote:
*) WIN32: Canonicalise filenames under Win32. Short filenames are
converted to long ones. Backslashes are converted to forward
slashes. Case is converted to lower. Parts of URLs that do not
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
correspond to files are left completely alone. [Ben Laurie]
Thus this fix prohibits Apache from operating properly in my win95
environment. I respectfully request if you could revisit this fix, and
correct the problem.
Thank you very much,
Hayim Hendeles
It isn't the case of the file, but the case of other things in the URL.
It has been corrected in the source already.
When the disk is mounted from a samba server with "case sensitive = yes",
perhaps?
