[Bug 121352] New: Can't delete word from Word Completion as long as word remains in document

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=121352

          Priority: P3
            Bug ID: 121352
          Assignee: ooo-issues@incubator.apache.org
Summary: Can't delete word from Word Completion as long as word
                    remains in document
          Severity: normal
        Issue Type: DEFECT
    Classification: Application
                OS: All
          Reporter: vivian.unger@mail.mcgill.ca
          Hardware: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: AOO 3.4.1
         Component: ui
           Product: word processor

I have a word in my document that I don't want popping up while I'm typing. If
I delete it from the Word Completion list, it's only gone for that session.
When I reopen the document next time, it's back in. If I delete all occurrences
of the word from the document and then delete it from Word Completion, it
doesn't come back. But I shouldn't have to do that. I should be able to have a
word in my document and not have to have it in my Word Completion list if I
don't want to.

I think it is a usability issue because the user got confused wile using Word
Completion functionality. It is possible to turn off auto-completion for the
whole text only, but not for the single world as user was complaining.

Andrew Lincoln, 1/30/2013.
I replicated this bug on Windows 7 Enterprise (Service Pack 1, 32-bit) using
AOO 3.4.1 [AOO341m1 (Build:9593) - Rev. 1372282].
Vivian's steps in replicating the issue work for me. For those not familiar
with the Word Completion feature, you can change the options in Tools >
AutoCorrect Options... > Word Completion tab. Selecting a word in the text box
and clicking on Delete Entry will remove it from the text box. Yet after
clicking on OK and resuming my work in the document, the word pops up when I
start to write that word in the document if the word I just removed is still in
the document. Going back into the Word Completion options, the word is back in
the text box, regardless of whether or not I finished typing the word or not.
This issue should be fixed as it can annoy and confuse users.
