Mitchell Wilson created NETBEANS-3765:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: No Java Program
Key: NETBEANS-3765
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-3765
Project: NetBeans
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 11.2
Environment: Windows 10
Reporter: Mitchell Wilson
Attachments: netbeans64 - Shortcut.lnk
Hello, I am new to the NetBeans IDE and I was going to utilize the IDE for learning to program in Java. My problem is, when I try to create a new project, I do not have the ability to create a project under the category of "Java". The first category listed is "Java with Maven", but in the list, there is no "Java" category. How do I use Java on NetBeans without the Maven build tool?
