10.2 release contents
Hi Andrew,
I heard a vague rumor that the 10.2 distributions would look different
than the 10.1 distributions available at
http://db.apache.org/derby/releases/release-10.1.2.1.cgi. Have you heard
this rumor and if so can you elaborate?
Thanks,
-Rick

Well, if I get my way, goderby.jar (or whatever it ends up being named
- DERBY-1063) and new scripts in a bin directory in the -bin
distribution (DERBY-1032). There's also Stan's Working With Derby
document which might be a new addition as well. I'm not sure what
others may want to add.

Thanks, Andrew. What new items are we likely to see inside the
distributions?
Cheers,

That's the first I've heard of it. The contents will likely have some
new items, but as far as I know, the six distributions listed there
would be what we would want to release for 10.2
We did get a request for a debug-lib distribution at one point:
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-178
Not hard to do, still out there for lack of tuits.
So what was the rumor you heard? :-)
