[Issue 125919] New: Can't get smart quotes to work

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125919

          Issue ID: 125919
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Can't get smart quotes to work
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: Mac
                OS: Mac OSX, all
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: formatting
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: martinhillman2@gmail.com

I try to copy a curly quote into the relevant box in the auto-correct area and
it is pasted as a straight quote or foot-mark. Similar for double quotes.
Excuse me if I'm just doing it wrong, or if I'm submitting the issue wrongly,
I'm new to Open Office

You are in wrong place here. This is a bug tracking system and not a help desk.
