Sorry for the disturbance, in fact I rearranged my whole code in these two days to isolate the real cause of the problem and the irony is that the culprit was both my messy code and JDK due to [an old bug|https://bugs.java.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=8081474] in SwingWorker where done method could be called in certain cases before doInBackground finishes all its tasks.
