   This is growing a lot of functionality in the core of ARQ. I am concerned that increasing specific code is creeping into the general engine.
   
   Could it be a separate system that uses the service extensibility mechanism? This would also mean development is not on a Jena PR.
   
   Could it do a simple case? Reading a few input iterator bindings (say up to 10) and issuing a compound SERVICE for 10 items. Repeat. This is a reduction of calls by x10.
