[jira] [Commented] (DAFFODIL-2217) trailingEmptyStrict not being
strict in this case
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DAFFODIL-2217?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17325965#comment-17325965 ]
Mike Beckerle commented on DAFFODIL-2217:
-----------------------------------------
Adding more tests: https://github.com/apache/daffodil/pull/535
Test test_sep_trailingEmptyStrict_1 fails because it should cause a parse error, but does not.
Test test_sep_trailingEmptyStrict_2 works because it DOES detect the parse error.
The only difference between these two tests is one has maxOccurs="3" the other maxOccurs="4", the input data only has 2 elements in it.

> This TDML test parse-test-6 should cause an error, but does not.
> The trailingEmptyStrict seems not to be checking in this case.
> See attached TDML file. (Which is not pasted here because if you do this, then any Jira search that uses a property name matches the ticket because every property is mentioned in the TDML).
