[jira] Commented: (SOLR-1390) add timestamp for last update/commit to stats page

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-1390?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12748608#action_12748608 ]

Hoss Man commented on SOLR-1390:
--------------------------------

most recent update is kind of vague and hard to track.

most recent commit is essentially the same thing as the openedAt stat from "searcher"

> For purposes of monitoring the health of a running search system, it would be handy if the admin stats page (I guess in the "update handler" section) displayed the date/time of the most recent update and/or most recent commit. If the application is expected to post updates once in a while but the solr stats page doesn't show any recent updates, that is a sign that something is wrong.
