ExpiringMap never starts Expirer?

Was looking into ExpiringMap so that I can shamelessly steal^h^h^h^hborrow
it for my own evil purposes :) but found through testing that the Expirer
is never triggered, since it is never started by the owning map.
Should this go into a JIRA or is there any reason for this? There seems to
be no way to start the Expirer from the outside, which would be odd
anyway..

thanks
Holger

Duh..missed the getExpirer() getter, which makes it possible to start the
thing from the outside. Sorry for the noise.
