I assume, with 'thread safe manner' you mean that you don't have to set the
global delimiter, which will impact other configuration objects as well, right?

So, would the following be okay for you: PropertiesConfiguration will define a
new boolean property, which controls, whether multi-valued properties are
written on single or multiple lines. This flag is evaluated by the save() methods.

Does anybody has a good suggestion for the name of such a property? It's
difficult to find a short and precise name. setSingleLineForProperty()?
