problem with maven installation
Hi, I'm getting the following error when I run maven:
C:\Program Files\Maven\maven-2.0.6\bin>mvn
archetype:create\-DarchetypeGroupId=o
rg.apache.maven.archetypes\-DgroupId=com.mycompany.app\-DartifactId=my-app
[INFO] Scanning for projects...
[INFO] Searching repository for plugin with prefix: 'archetype'.
[INFO]

I don't know why this is ocurring, and any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Did you check if the maven-archetype-plugin was downloaded in your local
repo?
If it is there, try deleting the plugin (including pom, metadata &
checksum files) then build again.
