   LGTM, merging.
   
   Regarding "we don't support prune DATE/TIMESTAMP partition columns, we can't add test to verify that change.", is that a bug or did we miss it in the first place? I think it should be part of the story of fully supporting partition pruning in HiveCatalog, as partition by date is quite popular. Are we able to do it in 1.10? 
   
   I opened https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-15411, we can evaluate which release it should go into
