[jira] [Created] (COUCHDB-2780) Remove possibly_hack from chttpd

Robert Newson created COUCHDB-2780:
--------------------------------------

             Summary: Remove possibly_hack from chttpd
                 Key: COUCHDB-2780
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-2780
             Project: CouchDB
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
            Reporter: Robert Newson

chttpd currently attempts to hack _replicate post's that use 'local' dbnames for source or target fields.

In contrast, _replicator docs do *not* get the same hack, local dbs in those places simply cause errors.

For consistency between the apis, remove this hack and insist on urls for source and target fields through the clustered interface.
