unopkg.bin sync fails while packaging OS/2 build
Hi,
while packaging the OS/2 build for AOO 4.1.8, I get
unopkg.bin sync --verbose -env:UNO_JAVA_JFW_ENV_JREHOME=true
to fails while registering extensions. This happens because the file path
(for registry directory) lenght exceed the system limit of 260 chars.
Since the build is working correctly, I wonder what I miss in my
installation.

Hi Yuri,
On OS/2 I always had a problem with the French dictionary (bundled in
the German version).
Maybe this is related (maybe not)?

This is Off Topic, but the problem is not with the extensions but with
trunk/AOO42X.

See above, except for OS/2 I have never seen a problem with it on 4.1.x

Yes, I understand that.
Now that the Update check is fixed the abandoned extension problems are showing up (e.g. the AOO PDF Import extension)
Is there anything I can do to help?
I can also add that the French dictionary is working as expected in 4.1.8 under Linux

Good to know!
We normally build our own Python-core (now 2.7.18), but on OS/2 system
wide Python is used?
If the French Dictionary needs to execute a Python script this may be a
hint to our problem on Windows...

I see it requires execution of a python script. I doubt this works on OS/
2, never tested.

The French dictionary isn't registered. Has been so for years...

I doubt, but it depends what kind of task unopkg.bin is supposed to do
while packaging.
Which kind of issue do you have?
