[jira] Commented: (THRIFT-507) Remove the compiler's dependency on Boost

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-507?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12710062#action_12710062 ]

Michael Greene commented on THRIFT-507:
---------------------------------------

I tried this out on a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 and just the basic build essentials with THRIFT-505 and THRIFT-506 and this part of that changeset worked beautifully. These patches do depend on THRIFT-506, which applied cleanly but didn't work correctly for me.

+1, thanks David.
