how to link a project svn code to an existing repository

Hi everybody!
I am sorry to bother you, but I do not know how to link the svn of a new
project registered in allura (installed on an ubuntu server), to an
existing svn repository, that has its https://10.xx.xx......

I tried the import tool with the https:// , but even if I had removed the
password I'm getting a warning that says invalid URL...

Can you give me some hint?
