[jira] [Commented] (IOTDB-518) Apache IoTDB integration with MiNiFI/NiFi

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IOTDB-518?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17061813#comment-17061813 ]

Nghia Le commented on IOTDB-518:
--------------------------------

Hi,

I am Nghia and I would like to work on this as in the framework of GSoC 2020.

Even though I am new to IoTDB, I have been contributing to Apache MiNiFi/NiFi for almost one year (though mainly C++ part, but I understand the technology).

One of the main difficulties when trying to learn IoTDB is that some of the documents are available in Chinese only (System Design docs).

Thus, I would like to hear some advices to:
 * Familiarise myself with the project.
 * Success with GSoC application, since I just heard about it recently, so I am a bit lack of understanding about the process.

Thank you and hope to see your response soon!
