[ANNOUNCE] Commons NET 3.0 released

The Apache Commons Net team are pleased to announce the release of
Commons Net version 3.0.

This is primarily a maintenance release, but it also includes some new
features and enhancements:
- basic support for IMAP and IMAPS
- support for SMTPS and POP3S

All users are encouraged to upgrade to 3.0.

This release is binary compatible with 2.2, but there are some minor
changes to source compatibility, please read the release notes for
full details:
