[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AVRO-1129?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Douglas Creager updated AVRO-1129:
----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version/s: 1.7.2
Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)
Even though this changes the signature of avro_schema_decref, it's a backwards-compatible change in both the API and ABI. Merged into SVN.

> In the current code there is no ability to check if schema is alive after avro_schema_decref() call. I.e.:
> schema = avro_schema_from_json();
> do_something (schema); // call to avro_schema_decref. maybe.
> if (!schema_is_alive) // can`t check it
> cleanup();
