[jira] Commented: (RAT-2) RAT reports should be able to skip certain file types or contents:

Gavin commented on RAT-2:
-------------------------

Yes, configurable CLI exclusions would be good.

Like rsync, something like

'--exclude /this/directory --exclude /another/directory/here'

or '--exclude-file="listoffilesanddirstoexclude.txt"' - where that txt file contains a list

> RAT reports should be able to skip certain file types or contents:
> MANIFEST files
> *.css where the contents is a single "@include" line
> CHANGES file
> It would be useful if exceptions could be configured on a per-project basis
