[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-4674) Email-based JIRA Commenting for Accumulo

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4674?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13252215#comment-13252215 ]

Gavin commented on INFRA-4674:
------------------------------

No workaround sorry. And no, all Jira replys are purposely set to the projects dev list so that discussions get carried through.
If however the PMC decides that all Jira notifications are to be replied to the jira ticket then I'll change it, please send a link to the thread approving this change of behaviour.

> I just conducted a test where I replied to a JIRA email for ACCUMULO-497 and my message did not show up as a comment on the ticket [1]. I then replied and changed the To: address to jira@apache.org, and the reply did show up as a comment [2]. It would be nice if commenting were the default behavior. Could the Reply To: address for Accumulo's JIRA notifications be set to jira@apache.org? Or is there another way to solve the problem?
