embedded xindice

Would someone point to me a simple example of an embedded xindice example ?

My project is a web application, hosted in tomcat, and accessing its data in 
xindice.

Re-post your request without calling it "embedded xindice".   Your question is
how to
run Xindice inside of Tomcat.   Specify more details about how you will use
Xindice.
