This fixes #6459.
It also includes some fixes for incorrect rendering on the debugging page - code blocks were interrupting unordered lists (which probably should be ordered now that I think about that, may fix in a later commit or another PR) - and removes a warning that the docs build was emitting because of a broken reference in a Python client docstring
