When encrypting a PDF document using command line, the encrypted PDF is not useable in Acrobat Reader IOS or Android.
Command Line:
{{java -jar pdfbox-app-2.0.13.jar Encrypt -O test -U test -keyLength 256 -canAssemble false -canExtractContent false -canModify false -canModifyAnnotations false plain.pdf testenc.pdf }}
Other viewers like Foxit work.
Java Version:
{{java version "1.8.0_201"}}
{{Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_201-b09)}}
{{Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.201-b09, mixed mode)}}
Tried encryption under Linux and OSX.
