scm:bootstrap executes checkout twice

Hello all,
I'm sorry threre's already a thread about this subject but , i don't
find emmanuel venisse' response after
the author posted his pom.xml snippet.
I use scm plugin as it is on plugin site.
plugin removes the workingdirectory, executes checkout. removes again
the workingdirectory and execute
chekout again before executes goal.
How to avoid this.
